Regarding this question: Which Bow Valley College program(s) equip graduates to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities, while taking an active role in creating inclusive communities? I wanted to let you know that I find this program very interesting!

Hi Ivy, That's our Disability Studies Certificate (1-year) or Diploma (2-year) programs. Students can enter this program directly out of high school, provided that they have completed Grade 12 English. For exact admission requirements, you can visit http://choose.bowvalleycollege.ca/disability-studies/ We encourage students to apply early in their Grade 12 year as these programs are popular and tend to fill up quickly. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact us directly at info@bowvalleycollege.ca or (403) 410-1402. Thank you, Prospective Student Advising Team

Hi Geoffrey, The Disability Studies programs teach students to support clients, regardless of disability type - for example physical disabilities, intellectual/learning disabilities, psychiatric disabilities, etc. Students with disabilities are also welcome to study in this program!
